Kirill Fedyanin is a Machine Learning Engineer at Yandex who has been burning GPU-hours for years. He trained trigrams in 2011, Gaussian processes in 2019, LLMs in 2022, and a self-driving car model last week.

Kirill has published at NeurIPS, ACL and EMNLP — fancy conferences where reviewers tend to reject you twice before accepting — and took part in cooking Falcon, an open-source LLM. He is currently helping the Yandex self-driving car overcome its fear of pigeons crossing the road.
